However it is based on an earlier Conexant Brooktree chipset in the 848 so it may be an older card. The 878 is on the 2000 series I think.

When I install a Leadtek Winfast 2000 XP deluxe TV card, windows XP assigned it to the same bus that my ethernet card is on. It wont let me make any alterations because it says the device is necessary to boot the computer. The device should not even come up as a network adapter, as it isn't one.
